May 31, 2011 - Tuesday. I got up to Rabbit mountain early this morning and watched the sunrise. I brought my coffee with me. I was good to have coffee up there. I had the mountain all to myself.

And as the sunshine started to cast beautiful day light, I sat there in quiet gratefulness for such beauty.

Even the birds were feeling my joy.

Sun Flowers await for the sun.

The Little Town of Elko, BC. Another day begins.

The mountain shadows.

Zooming out. A bigger perspective of where I live.

I hear birds chirping. I inhale the soft and cool mountain air freshness. It feels like heaven.

Such a beautiful start of the day.

May 27, 2011 - Graduation Day

Graduation ceremony. Today I graduate. What a most wonderful feeling. A few years ago, I remember writing a list of all the stuff I needed to do. I saw that the list was long. I realized that it will take a long time. I cried. Once I got over my frustration, I focused on my inspiration and just kept doing what I needed to do. It was a wonderful journey. Another chapter ends and a new one begins.

These are just some of the wonderful people I met during the program. I learned so much from them and myself.

Only a few of us attended the graduation ceremony. Back when I was younger, I didn't care for graduation ceremonies, I didn't know how privileged I was.

After the graduation ceremony Ron and I attended a local concert of the Bisset Singers at the Alliance Church in Cranbrook. Nice way to end the day.

May 22, 2011, Sunday. Spring weather this year seems a bit lacking in sunshine, except for the dandelions. They are so beautiful when they come out. But they have to be cut down before they seed - otherwise it's big trouble.

Ron and I have been fans of "The Waltons" TV series from the 70's. We have been watching all the episodes from since the 1st season. The 9th season is the last one. - awwww :-(

May 17, 2011 - Things I need to get done!

I went out for a walk and found a rock that seem to smile at me. I loved the feeling I got from it and decided to keep it. It seems to magically make me smile. It's a keeper!

May 19, 2011 - Today I decided to go fly a kite on Rabbit mountain. It was such a beautiful evening (yes. It doesn't get dark til 10 PM now).

I brought a bottle of wine, Some great music and my kite. Oh soooo lovely!

Unfortunately, after about half an hour my kite string broke. I lost my kite to the trees below perhaps 800 meters away. I will find that kite one of these days.

Yes it felt that way.

I am grateful. Amen

May 13, 2011 - I was able to catch a ride with Eric and Tim to Calgary and so I was able to hang out with Antot and Marvinn and the rest of their family. It was awesome.

Ron and I were lucky to go to an Elton John Concert on the 14th at the Saddle dome in Calgary. The photo was taken with my celphone.
