I find that I watch more TV now. I never seem to stop and watch any show from start to finish. I always find myself watching something else. When someone asks me what I watched. I don;t even remember which ones because I just flick through the remote constantly. In the end, I haven't really watched anything.
Can anyone tell me what this means? I have this design on my shirt but I do not know what It means at all. I had this shirt at least 2 years now. I bought it from WALMART for 5 bucks (Ha ha ha!)
View from the side mirror. I was waiting for Ron and Frank.
Humming birds are out again. If you plan to take photos of humming birds, and if your camera has multiple exposure settings, Try using that. Because the humming birds are just too fast to capture, you won't even know if they wre actually in the photos as they are tiny!
Watching a Movie in Fernie, BC. I was told that this movie house has been there for a long long time.
Ron and Frank inside the movie house. Ron looks excited. Frank looks bored . hahahah! (The movie hasn't even started yet!)
This is the class I attend at the College of the Rockies . That particular afternoon, one of the students was graduating - so there was FREE Lunch! Yipee! We had some Chinese food from Cedar Garden.

Decided to go out walking today.. .... alone.... with my thoughts...
Some lonely back road toward Galloway. Wonderful just contemplating on things that really matter this way. I actually got to voice out my prayers to God and in my own language too. Very therapeutic..
Beautiful flowers huh? -
I walked 11 Kms. (plus a few more , because I got lost) From Elko to Jaffray today. It was wonderful, but my knees were a bit weak after more than 4 hours of walking.
Me and Frank, inside the car. Hmmm I can now use my sunglasses for something else!
Ron coming out from the store. Happy with his purchases it seems!
Fernie, BC - This is a quiet little town. I think this is what a normal "after hours" looks like. Hardly anyone there but 3 kids in their bikes.
Fernie, BC - Real estate prices are ridiculously high here (just like everywhere else).
College of the Rockies, Fernie Hallway.
New haircut. Not quite the haircut I wanted, but It will do. I haven't really found any barber or hairstylist that had much talent in this area. In Calgary I had found an oriental lady (born and raised in Canada) who knew how to cut fine, limp Asian hair like mine. But I can't go to Calgary just for a hairstyle. I am stuck with keeping my hair short because, It seems that's the only hairstyle the haircutting people can do in this area.

The Famous Fernie Ghost Rider Shadow - According to Fernie.com : Lying in the shadows, a legend waits for the afternoon sun. On a summer evening, out of Mt. Hosmer’s face, comes the Ghostrider – the shadow of a distinctive horse and rider, the ghost some say of an angry Indian Chief and his jilted daughter pursuing William Fernie.
As legend tells it, William Fernie was courting an Indian Princess to learn the source of her sacred black stone necklace. It is said that after learning the secret location of the Morrissey Coal Seams, Fernie stopped seeing the Princess and the tribe’s medicine woman placed a curse on the Elk Valley.
Residents of Fernie feared the curse was real after several tragedies struck the town. Fire reduced the town to smoldering rubble in 1904 and again in 1908. In 1916, the Elk River flooded and in 1917 there was a mining disaster. A public ceremony in 1964 officially lifted the curse. Members of the Kootenay Tribes assembled in Fernie and Chief Red Eagle (Ambrose Gravelle) and Fernie Mayor James White smoked a pipe of peace.
Although the curse was lifted over 35 years ago, on summer evenings, the ghost of an angry Indian chief and his jilted daughter still rides above Fernie and their legend lives on in the shadows of the mountain.
