Here you see a rare silver coin (they don't make silver pennys) that Michael found from a bowl filled with coins that Ron gave him. Initially we were all hoping it would sell half a million dollars. But reality is, its not worth that much. Michale and Ron will split it's net worth when they do get to sell it to the highest bidder. So far $700 US was the highest.

Taken from my walk today. Walking on snow is quite an exercise. Walking alone, listening to the crunching of the snow and that water streaming from this little creek.

Ron and I went to Calgary to get away for a while. I thought following this truck with an outhouse on it looked interesting. "Look honey, I bought you a new outhouse!"

I revisited on foot alone the places where me and my mom were together the last time. I remember December 28, 2004 - I met my mom here at this exact place - The COOP Store in Calgary by 11th Ave. I miss ma. I put my sunglasses on, sat by the bench and just cried. I remember hugging her here. I Didn't know that would be one of the last moments I would have with her.

Ron and I went to watch a play at a local community theater in Cranbrook, BC. The play is entitled Criminal Hearts. I had a great time.

So far that's it for January. Nothing much happening here except for these. I don't take pictures when I am at work so most of these pictures I take are from days when I am off. Please e-mail soon!

Big Hugs,

  2. Hi Ed

    Many thanks for your message.
Hope u had a lovely Xmas and
    a happy new year.

I know its hard to go thru
    these happy moments without
your Mum. I felt that way too
and still do after 6 years.

But life moves on and my Mum
would want nothing more than for
us - their children - to be
happy and moving on in life.

So - all the best and may you
    truly have a happy 2007.

    Cheers.
    RODNEY
