January 26, 2016

Today Ron comes home from his long Vacation. I am so excited for his homecoming that I decided to make an art wall.

Lots of measurements done on the wall. Getting ready for installation. I have music playing and I am happy. Perfect combination to start a home project.

This is going to be our little art gallery. Decision made.

I had to repaint the wall a slightly darker shade. Then install the shelves.

Shelves are now installed.

By the time Ron got home, I managed to do some fun colors. All done in love. Oh what Joy! :-)

For some reason, this was the only photo I had taken with a real camera. The rest were taken with my phone. Create we shall!!!

January 2016

Working on some art. I love being silly.

While Ron was in Calgary, I learned to hook up the laptop to the TV. So awesome!

When the rain wasn't too much of a bother, I went for bike rides.

I also loved playing with paint.

I loved having no one else's rules but mine. Painting is such a joy. Especially with a glass of wine and some beautiful music! Oh beauty!

I saw this in the city today.

I love playful colors! Life is good.

What I did with Chicken Flakes one evening.

I created this beautiful dish. Chicken Flakes with Raspberry . OMG! What joy!

Laundry Marathon - on a day off in January .

Sad sandwich - but all good just the same. I am grateful.

Decided to cook today

Looks busy in the kitchen, but not really. Beautiful mess.

I cannot help but capture the clutter along with my beautiful bowl of soup.

January 7, 2016 - Thursday

My Day Off today. So I decided to go for a walk.

This is in memory of the beautiful lives who had gone through so much.

As I walk along , I reflect on how fragile our lives are. Beautiful, yet fragile.

Quiet moments, resting my feet from hours of walking

I love moments of peace and quiet. One such as this. Perfect in its own grand way.

Tonight. Overactive tastebuds thanks to the Gelateria across the street where Ron and I live.
